this is health data — yours. we treat that as the whole point of the product, not a compliance chore. here is everything, in plain words.
your account: email, sign-in identity (google or email code), and the name you choose to give. what you log: cycle dates, daily check-ins (mood, flow, symptoms, intimacy), ovulation kit results, semen analysis values, weight and food entries, reminders, due date, and your goal. what you photograph for the Brain to read: ovulation kits, scans, reports and prescriptions — and the numbers it extracts from them. if you turn on phone alerts: a push subscription for that device (a device identifier). if you buy pro: the payment reference razorpay gives us — never your card or UPI details, which we never see.
if you join the warrior course: your full name, date of birth, city, country, education and healthcare background (and, if you choose, your gender, occupation and how you heard of us), so we can run the course and issue your certificate. only if you tick the boxes: your choice to hear from us by email or on WhatsApp, the time you chose it, and your WhatsApp number. and, if you arrived from one of our pages or posts, a short tag naming that page — never anything about you.
to run the product you see: paint your ring, count his 74 days, remember your history, remind you, run the warrior course, and — only with your separate consent — send offers, and lessons, articles and news by email or WhatsApp. no other purposes. we do not profile you for anyone else.
on servers in india (mumbai region), encrypted in transit and at rest, walled per account so no other user can ever read yours. photos are read and then deleted on the free tier; on pro the original scan or report is kept in your files, and stays kept after pro ends: 30 days later it moves to lower-cost cold storage in the same region, still yours to open or export, until you delete your account. kit photos are always deleted after reading. what the reading found — the values, dates and lab names — is never deleted for lapsing: your history stays yours on every tier. a nightly encrypted backup, kept 30 days, is written to storage in india.
eFertility is operated from india and your data is stored in india (mumbai region), whichever country you use it from. if you are outside india, using the app means your information is transferred to and held in india under the safeguards described here — encrypted, walled per account, never sold. you can remove it at any time with the delete button, wherever you are. a few things do leave india, and we name them all under “who touches it”: the photo or file of a report you ask the Brain to read, and the numbers it summarises, go to google's gemini AI for that reading; email and WhatsApp messages you choose to receive are delivered by resend and meta; the account emails we send you (such as a restore link) go through hostinger, or resend if hostinger is down; and sign-in, serving the app and payments use google, vercel and razorpay.
our infrastructure providers process data on our instructions: supabase (database, mumbai), amazon web services (your documents and our backups, stored in mumbai), vercel (serving the app), google (sign-in), razorpay (payments — they see the amount, your payment method and the email on the order; we see only a reference), and hostinger (our support@efertility.in mailbox, which also sends account emails such as your restore link, and our own service alerts; its mail servers may be outside india), with resend as the fallback sender for those emails. vercel also counts anonymous page views and a few app events (no cookies, nothing about you or your health), so we know which pages and posts help people. we do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or run third-party ads. ever.
the Brain is google's gemini AI. when you ask it to read a report or a test photo, that image goes to gemini; when it writes a summary, the values it summarises go to gemini. gemini processes them outside india; we send them only for that reading, under google's terms for the gemini API, and the answer comes back to us in mumbai. nothing else of yours is sent to it.
if — and only if — you tick the email or WhatsApp box, MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED sends those messages from its own marketing system, whose database is hosted in india (mumbai region). emails are delivered through resend, and WhatsApp messages through meta (the WhatsApp Business Platform); both process those messages outside india, so your email address or WhatsApp number, and the message sent to it, leave india for that delivery. the marketing system receives only a random account id, your email address, your WhatsApp number if you gave it, which boxes you ticked, and the tag of the page that brought you — and your preferred language and course milestones (reaching lesson 3, finishing the course, a week without a lesson), and when each of these happened, so we can send the right lesson at the right time. nothing about your cycle, tests, health or payments is ever shared. the boxes are only offered to people 18 or over. switch the box off and nothing more is sent; your details are removed from that system within 30 days.
export everything and delete everything are buttons in your account — no email required (see how to delete your account). every kind of message is its own switch, off unless you turn it on, and each can be refused or withdrawn on its own: service messages and offers on your phone live in notifications; email and WhatsApp from the warrior course live in your account. delete starts at once: you are signed out and hidden from everyone, including a linked partner. for 30 days you can restore it, from the link we email you or by writing to support@efertility.in from the address you sign in with; for the next 30 days it is archived where nobody can open it; then it is permanently erased. backups holding it expire within 30 days after that. what is kept after erasure, none of it with your name or email: the record of any payment (amount, date, reference), no longer linked to your account, for the period tax law requires; a pseudonymous record of the message permissions you gave and withdrew, and a deletion log, so we can show we honoured them; and our log of admin actions. these hold only dates and a random reference.
pro is a one-time purchase (30 or 70 days) — nothing renews and nothing is charged without a fresh tap. it belongs to the journey, so both of you get it. if a payment is taken and pro doesn't appear within a few minutes, write to support@efertility.in with the payment reference and we credit or refund it. apart from that, purchases are not refundable: pro is a short, one-time window you can try free first.
no selling, no advertising networks, no sharing with clinics or anyone else without your explicit action, no reading your data for purposes you didn't ask for. estimates in the app support planning and are never contraception; the app educates and organises — it never diagnoses.
eFertility is for adults — you must be 18 or older to use it.
wherever you live, you can see everything we hold (export), correct it (in the app), and erase it (delete) — no email required, and no reason owed. write to support@efertility.in for anything else — a human reads it. in india, these are your rights under the DPDP act 2023, and we answer grievances within the timelines it sets; if your country's law (such as the GDPR in europe or the UK) gives you further rights, we honour those too. the export and delete buttons are the same for everyone.
